This Koala was on static display at the Rotary Wing Expo held in the Gold Coast in 2024. The AgustaWestland AW119 Koala, produced by Leonardo since 2016, is an eight-seat utility helicopter powered by a single turboshaft engine produced for the civil market. It is a development of the twin-engined AW109 Power series of machines. Introduced as the Agusta A119 Koala prior to the Agusta-Westland merger, it is targeted at operators favoring the lower running costs of a single-engine aircraft over the safety and redundancy of a twin.
